I'm not an LSU hater. LSU as an institution just doesn't evoke any strong emotion for me. The subject at hand was what it is like to be a fan of a school that doesn't have an impressive winning record in the lesser sports. I simply responded that it is only significant if someone cares about those sports. Sheesh.

3 pages of posts trying to justify that having 28 national championships is acceptable and that 53 championship spread across an athletic department doesn’t prove how much more valuable LSU athletics is as opposed to little brother Bama.
And it only gets better with Saban gone.
One fact is clear, however, that LSU could stop competing in sports all together and we will still never live to see Bama reach 53 nattys.
