This isn’t a pile on Barn thread, it just always amazes me these guys can’t hit free throws.

Watch Bama go 10-30 now too.

I wasn’t athletic in HS bball by any means, but I had my rhythm and made my free throws. It’s the most frustrating thing when your college/pro team can’t make the easiest shot in the game outside of a layup/dunk.

'Bama had the same problem the past few years. It's so refreshing to see this team actually hit their free throws when it matters.

I mean, there was a period where Shaq, a person getting paid millions of dollars to do nothing but be proficient at basketball, couldn't hit a free throw to save his life so they just files fouled him every play. I haven't touched a basketball in 10 years and could probably go out and hit a free throw

Imagine being one of the historically worst sec basketball programs but thinking you're a basketball school.

Can't say shite as you are 100% correct. This team absolutely cannot hit free throws.

It's a microcosm of the whole season. All in or ice cold. Rarely anything in between. Way too inconsistent and no true identity. Even the one thing they actually do well, defense, just disappeared in the 2ndnhalf when Houston adjusted.

The last 5 years of AU Bball have been better than anything I had witnessed before in 30 years, so it's not all doom and gloom, but when you have a 1 seed down 10 at the half in a tournament "home" game, you gotta show up in the 2nd half. This team didn't.

Have you ever tried shooting a free throw in front of 10,000 screaming fans? Have you ever looked at those massive courts? The depth perception is very difficult to gauge how far the rim is, even on free throws. I've seen professional golfers miss 5 foot putts when huge money was on the line. It's called pressure.

Define worry, considering your shitty team is headed back to Lee fricking County.

Shaquille couldn't hit a free throw and he finally turned into something. So, there's hope.

Kind of like football being your life and not being able to kick a field goal. You know, Cade Foster.

That’s the recipient of your death threats in 2013. Just in case you forgot.

The easiest shot in the game. Get to relax, take your time and shoot with noone in your face. Dont get how some guys can't make free throws
