Woodward only goes big in all of his hires. This is an excellent hire in so many ways. Huge name with big time success. Last three Coaches at LSU all won a NC. By year 2-3 LSU will be right back in the hunt.

This is the best possible outcome out of the LSU search short of BoB. So many good coaches available, and Kelly is the exact opposite of any coach that the fanbase wanted
Coaching changes board was a hoot earlier when this first started getting out.

I think I can clown on this hire because it is a terrible hire a costs to much. The fact that you think there is any relevance to “you can’t talk because your coach blah blah blah” shows how uniquely fricking stupid you are. Have a chair and let the grownups talk while you finish puberty.

It is true. Kelly is absolutely not a cultural fit. Woodward was near the bottom of his list. Huge money grab for Kelly so congratulations to him.
LSU has to hope he did it for purposes other than money as his age and level of motivation could go hand and hand.
Not saying he isn't a very good coach. Just more a concern about why he took the job.
Not upset one bit. Only 2, maybe 3 coaches would have upset the lot of us. Kelly isn't on that list. And I can expand upon that but doing my best to keep this somewhat positive for Tigers. Again, congrats, let's just see how your feel after next season.

You might want to break that to Tigerdroppings first. They seem to be more underwhelmed with the hire than anyone over here.
