Gotcha. Thx. Looks like enough people are razzing you so I’ll refrain.

I have to wonder, when all these kids today go to A&M (70k +) - do they have some kind of sad belief that Aggie sports will turn around?
Don't they realize they are signing up to be Texas' beyotch for life? WTF. Maybe kiddos are too gay to care about sports anymore. They'd rather just blow bubbles and chant and yell about a fake army than actually win a damn game?
If I had the grades, and being a sports fanatic - I would haul my arse to Texas faster than you can say chigga rigga rum.
Which is what I did. Hook'em forever.

I genuinely, honestly, truly, sincerely think God has some kind of beef with the Texas A&M University athletics department.
Y'all should have never built Kyle on that Indain Burial Ground.

There has never been such a textbook definition of foreshadowing.

It is weird. It’s almost like they are basing where they go to school and the rest of their life on something other than college sports.

Need to win today or baseball will be done for the season.

*An honest attempt at a rational response*
From my perspective - an LSU transplant living in Houston, around more A&M alumni and fans (also more LSU alumni and fans) than UT alumni and fans, one huge blind spot stands out to me: the perspective that "A&M is always 'x' away from being a contender/ winning a championship/ insert athletic accomplishment here." For football, bringing on and then extending Jimbo Fisher - "We're a good coach away from winning the SEC and a national championship." For evidence, I'll cite the blank National Championship trophy A&M made for Jimbo. I'm not as familiar with their baseball program, but I have to expect that after this season, that'll be the mindset - "We had all that talent, and the coach just couldn't get it done."
To a degree, every fan base does this unless they are on a run of sustained success. But that mindset is very similar to what made the Cleveland Browns a laughingstock - how long were they "only a quarterback away?" Or the Raiders? The Red Sox? Et al?
I don't think it is as much an entitlement mindset as much as Aggie fans viewing their program through "rosier" rose-colored glasses than many, if not most other fan fan bases. Others can plainly see the result on the field and in the trophy room, and while there are flashes from time to time, the pieces are not generally there for the program(s) to be only one "x" player or coach away from being dominant. Throw in the little-brother complex where the entire identity of the school and the fanbase is built around not liking (or even hating) UT, where there always has to be some sort of an "enemy" rather than the program and the culture and identity being something that stands alone....for evidence I'll cite the fight song as well as printing cups for the 7-OT victory over LSU in 2018. In those cases, the mindset seems to become that Aggie didn't achieve because [insert enemy] "cheated."
I know some Aggies that are much more rational then this, so take this with a grain of salt because, while painting "Aggie" with a broad brush is par for the course here on this board - and fun, by the way, because y'all make it so easy - it is not the same for all Aggies. However, when you combine the view that they're always on the cusp and add in the pseudo-inferiority complex, it becomes an echo chamber, that, from the outside, seems to also include big donors, boosters, and the Athletic department leadership. To me, THAT is the real issue - the leadership are fans first.
But hey - there's always meat-judging! (there's the razz

You get no sympathy from us. I think y'all get bad treatment due to the gayness you exude. Conversely, we are good people, so I have yet to figure out why we get the cactus in the tailpipe.

God doesn't have anything to do with it.
It's your shite culture and constant desperation, which is your entire identity, and you can't change it.
