Just for the fun of it let's say LSU loses to UGA in the SECCG, but plays bama in the BCSCG... Would a hole rip open in the fabric of time, in the college football universe, if 2 SEC schools who did not win the conference played for the national title while the SEC champ got left out?

Provided that we beat Arkansas Friday, I'm thrilled about the chance to win the SEC title. We are catching up to Georgia and Tennessee in that department.

ummm i believe if you take a moment to look bammer was on probation in 09 and is still on probation.

Yep, I wish we would have a shot at an SEC title to go with a shot at the NC.
The LSU fans who are complaining are idiots. Even if they have a tougher road, it's definitely the better road.

I'm not bitching about us playing an "extra" game.. because we're doing it the right way..
I am however bitching about bama playing "diddle themselves" for a week and getting the same prize as a reward for losing.

Ummm I believe if you had some reading comprehension you would realize the point of my post was not to compare probation. The point is Bama doesn't give out rings because the sun comes up. In contrast to the Barners, Bama fans feel the Barn is just a stepping stone to something greater. We celebrate NCs. You celebrate just beating Bama.

Why bitch? If you win the SECCG you get a ring and a title. If you win the BCSCG you'll have both.

We gave out rings because we won the national championship when we were eligible to do so,, not for going undefeated you stupid goat fricker.
And we've never given out rings for winning the division.

I'm jealous of the fact that Bama got to take a loss in the game of the century, AT HOME, and is still sitting pretty for the NC.
LSU might as well of played Tulane on Nov 5th.
But whatever...more football for us!
