I'm jealous of the fact that Bama got to take a loss in the game of the century, AT HOME, and is still sitting pretty for the NC. LSU might as well of played Tulane on Nov 5th. But whatever...more football for us!

Strange thing to be jealous of.

Just for the fun of it let's say LSU loses to UGA in the SECCG, but plays bama in the BCSCG... Would a hole rip open in the fabric of time, in the college football universe, if 2 SEC schools who did not win the conference played for the national title while the SEC champ got left out?

Georgia would be in the sugar bowl with the automatic bid as sec champ.

Lsu and bama would be in mnc since 3 teams from one conf can go to bcs games if #1 and #2 are not conf champions.

It wouldn't be the first time Bama won a championship without winning the conference.

I will say that if LSU and Bama win it does set up one strange trip to the BCSCG for Bama as they are sitting at home with their ticket punched while LSU plays UGA. It reminds me of our 2007 season a little where the stars aligned for us (Thank you Dave!). That being said I think we had the best resume in 2007 and were the best of the 2 loss teams. I also think Bama is the best 1 loss team this year, it does not diminish our title in 2007 and it is the only acceptable game in my opinion this year.

And yes I love our shot to win the double. I mean who doesn't want to win the SEC championship?!

i thought you meant 2011 & 2012 MNCs as Bama is a senior laden team whereas LSU is stocked with mostly juniors and sophomores

Winning the SEC and not the NC would be like winning the swimsuit competition but not getting the crown!
