Really? Please list the games he won in which his team was less talented than his opponent.
Mullen wins the games he should, and loses the games he should. He will do just well enough at UF to not get fired. 10 wins a year. Sometimes 11.

I think Tennessee and Florida should do a coach-swap.
As a UGA fan, I'd be more nervous.
As it is now, ain't no thang.

Georgia got y’all scared enough to start dick riding Florida? Damn....

9-10 wins a year, if they keep him.

We’ll see he has to recruit better. He hasn’t proven he can do that yet, also as the State fans have said, he has to evolve as a play caller and stop leaning on the QB run so much.

Not worried. It's actually pretty understandable why he thinks that way. Not logical, but understandable.

Well, he has won some games with less talent as far as the NFL draft guys are concerned. But he lost far more than he won. I think he's a good coach. But here's the questions that remained to be answered.
1. Can he recruit at an elite level? I've seen consistent top ten recruiting and that's not elite. Elite is consistently finishing top 5. I think that has to be answered.
2. Can his offense beat a Bama, UGA, Auburn type defense that's well coached and loaded with talent consistently? Really UGA is the main question here as the others are not on their schedule most of the time. Dan's offenses have been great when he's had a once in a decade type talent run it. Dak and Tebows don't grow on trees. Emory Jones may be good, but is he at that level. Probably not.

A lot of questions have to be answered because, well, he hasn't even been here a whole year. However...
I mean, he stumbled into the best recruiting class he's ever had while coming into a program pretty much in shambles. While signing 19 players. I think this is going to be a pretty good year for him, perhaps even outstanding. We managed to get more big time recruits talking about us than we have in nearly 6 years and they're on both sides of the ball (Mullen also had a top ten defense last year).
Yeah, you guys kind of forget that Tebow did just that with no problem to the point where most rival fanbases were sick of seeing/hearing about him.
What you guys fail to realize about MSU isn't their inability to get good quarterbacks, Mullen can take just about anyone and make them outstanding (please no Franks) -- the problem is he doesn't get guys like Copeland, Grimes and other receivers out at MSU. That is literally the hardest team to recruit/coach at in the entire SEC for football.
Average education system, bare minimum prestige factor, terrible state, nearest rival is cheating, have to play 3 different title winning programs in the last decade (LSU, Alabama, Auburn) and there's a massive difference in talent level. McElwain, even with pitiful recruiting classes still ran the East's shite until this last year, Mullen's offense not only will succeed, but you guys are going to be shocked what it looks like when he actually has above average receivers for his quarterback to find.

His best recruiting class he's ever signed does not have one player in the top 20 SEC players signed according to RIvals rankings.
We'll see about this, but in the last decade only one type of team has won the SEC. The type that has several of those top 20 guys all over their roster.

Tebow was a rare talent and not sure what teams you are putting on the current Bama/uga level from those urban years.

Dan will do well.
He won't be an elite recruiter, but maybe he can hire one. His main advantage at UF will be attracting WR talent, which he couldn't do at MSU. To be fair, he didn't really try until last year, when he signed the best WR class MSU has ever had. He will have a successful QB, either by signing one or building one

Uf has a low tolerance for not being awesome so he better build one fast or else he will be fired in 3-4 years.

Yep, that was always the risk of going to Gainesville. I guess we'll see.
If I was a Florida fan, my only concern would be that you're getting an older, less hungry Mullen. He was an arrogant fire-breather when he came to Starkville. He's softer and more content now. He runs marathons and caddies for his kid in golf tournaments all summer. Maybe the change of scenery will rekindle his fire

I think Mullen will do well. I don’t necessarily see UF owning the East with the talent UGA can bring in, but I feel much better about competing with them under Mullen than McElwain. I can see it being a UGA/UF battle for years to come.

Mullen has to have 5 years to rebuild that JUCO roster.

Agree.Florida will be a force again under Mullen. If he can make MSU successful, then the unlimited resources at Florida should put them in the top 10 on a regular basis again.

The previous two coaches had more talent and the same resources. He will be fighting for position 2 thru 4 in the East regularly.
