How am I being a bitch... I laughed at the dude thinking someone is going to give up 4% ownership to Nick Saban to get him to come coach... He is the one that didn't agree with my thoughts on the matter of it being laughable and left. I just said later.

bullshite, it was one month, no more than two. And you never set terms for when the bet was to be repaid.
Terms are important when making bets. Regardless, the debt was paid.

It's a theory that definitely makes sense. I think there are certainly different "events" that can make us feel closer to whatever higher power you subscribe to (If I had a label myself, I'm spiritual but not religious so you'll have to forgive any loose terminology here).

I don't know that I've ever lost consciousness during Le petite mort though.

So Belle, what do you think about the cats new coach?

I'm excited about Stoops. I think he's put together a good staff with some guys that have been with the program either as players or coaches and understand the situation in Lexington. Neal Brown runs an exciting offense and Stoops is already making some moves (i.e. Za'Darius Smith) to secure some solid defensive guys.

Probably the most excited I've been about Kentucky Football since Woodson and Co. in '07.

Oh, I don't give a shite what you call it, he, she, them, whatever. It's a concept more than anything. After all, how can one define the undefinable?

I hope the fan base gets behind the new staff. They are in a dogfight to make something of what they were left with. Fan excitement will change a lot of that.

I figured. I just thought it might be a necessary qualifier to see where I'm coming from.

The only reason I mentioned was because of your comment on eros being a spiritual experience. I think that the body (and more importantly, the mind) are capable of pathways to the blazing Infinities by altering our range of perception through various means, extremes of pain and pleasure being one of them.

The thing is we have some talent on the roster. Especially offensively. We now have a TON of experienced guys after starting 16 true freshman this season on both sides of the ball as well. I think we're in far better shape then we were when we went on probation and NO ONE wanted the job (Thank God for Rich Brooks).

The fans have always been behind Kentucky though. Up until this last season we routinely finished Top 25 in attendance. The fans were never the issue. The administration getting serious was. And I think Barnhart felt his feet to the fire when fans got fed up this season and stopped showing up. Fans will go and watch a school on probation trying to rebuild. They don't want to watch a solid foundation get torn down with 2 win seasons though.

I can agree with that. More pleasure then pain in my neck of the woods but I definitely agree.

You're being a pain in the arse to anyone not an IM regular posting in this thread. I have no idea why but you're being a little shite about it. If you don't like the conversation just don't participate in it I guess?

The Browns were willing to donate ownership stock to Tennessee so they could pitch Gruden. It's not exactly that absurd.

That's good to hear. I am a college football junkie, I watch it every chance I get.

I love it too. As fond as I am of basketball I enjoy football just as much or more.

A common misconception about some UK fans is that we're foreign to the concept of the pigskin.

I'm not referring just to sex by any means. Childbirth, extreme trauma, grueling physical exertion, any extreme that pushes us to the edge of our conscious spectrum, can possibly get us closer to piercing that veil.

Think about it this way. We have a visible spectrum and an audible spectrum, but there are sights and sounds that exist beyond those. Why not a spectrum of what we can perceive as reality?

I have no issues with lukr, I just thought the ownership thing is laughable. he asked my opinion on the matter and I gave a honest response... don't bring up football in the IM if you don't want a honest response to the question.

This was a rumor, I never saw one link to anything that proved that. It was as big of a made up rumor as Gruden's interest in UT to begin with.

The only one I'm intentionally being a arse to is fr33 cause I think he is a joke. He tries to make himself out to be a smartass that is better than everyone else. I don't like it.

So, it's just like the snack thread.

The Nightwatch has never had a place. So we built our own. And they burned it down and made it verboten.
Yet still it persists.

We are the night. We own the night.

UK is more than just the hardwood. If they were not yall would have bolted to the ACC. Football still pays the bills and the SEC is a bill paying mofo.

No, I don't. I don't think I'm better than anyone, nor have I made claims of such. But it is an ongoing sentiment that i've learned to deal with. People are going to think what they will. I'll keep on being me. I really don't bite and I'll have a conversation with just about anyone.

There's a bit of a difference of an honest response and being an arse to be an arse. Which is exactly what you did. And it certainly came off that way to me.

I didn't know we had to have links to prove everything. That said, people thought it would be outlandish for the Boston Celtics to give Rick Pitino as much as they did to land him when he was at Kentucky and primed for another National Championship run. So if you're naive enough to think it's not possible I don't know what to tell you.

And it makes you look like a shite because you can't just DWI, not respond to him, and move along.

Not at all. NAT, who isn't even around here all that often to begin with, is the only one I've ever seen given someone issue without good reason.
