I didnt read this thread but the OP is kind of a whiner.
The only threads talking about A&M have A&M in the title. Pretty easy to avoid those.
I will say some Ags have come on here and dont really quite understand the SECr and have probably overstepped their bounds. Like I said though, its easy to tell which threads are talking about Aggies (i.e. your thread), so just avoid them.

Yes...you did. I have seen the number predictions. You need us. Especially after everyone renegotiated and the PAC started making a lot more than the SEC.
Dumbest post in this whole argument.

Thank God A&M is here to save us all !!!!

2. The Alabama-UT game is probably ending, no more cigars for the Bear.
Neither of these will happen. Bama will play both every year. The Iron Bowl may not be at the end of the season though.

I would hope not.
No point in arguing with the aTm folks, they will never understand what these rivalries mean. They will never understand it is not about money for us fans.
Plus they are from Texas. 80% of my family is from Texas and all have graduated from one Texas school or another, they believe they should be their own country.

That's a lot of tears from OP.
Y'all don't like us? Tough shite
Go make another thread to cry about the mean old Aggies changing the SEC again.

Whatever, the point is that they don't treat theirs the way that you treat yours. I fricking hate Va Tech, but at least they have cheerleaders and don't worship people in a corps...

You do realize that you bring NOTHING to this conference except the Texas market, right? That is the ONLY reason that you got an invitation.

If they bring in Missouri the only way Third Saturday in October and the Iron Bowl are preserved is if the SEC moves to a 9 game conference schedule, we move to the East, and Auburn become our permanent interdivision game. Even if that does happen, the Iron Bowl probably wouldn't remain the last game of the year, which would be a fricking travesty.

So we should become more like Va. Tech so you can......hate us less?

i'm all for being cool. not all Aggies are puffing out their chest, just trying to get in to the spirit of the SEC. so if i were to guess, i would say that any trash talking Ags are probably following lead of most of the posters on these boards. not wanting to be known as doormats.
also, i wouldn't put it past some rivals to create new ids and pose as aggies just to act like a-holes either.
that being said. haters gonna hate

meh, got about halfway through and got tired of both sides whining so much.
Just get one fact straight from page 3 or so.
There are more women at Texas A&M than men.

To the OP, we know A&M's joining will cause some inconvenience and some things will be lost. We should bear as much of the burden as possible before any current member. I hope the transition is smooth.
As far as our traditions are concerned, make fun all you want. The tools on here bitchin' about it need to grow some skin. The rest of us are used to it and really dont give a frick. But, we're not changing our shite just because you don't like it. We need a legit reason, which you aint got.

Yeah, sure we do.

According to A&M’s budget for this school year they expect to receive a conference distribution of around $15.83 million from the Big 12. Reports immediately following the announcement of A&M’s acceptance into the SEC today stated ESPN would be increasing rights fees to allow SEC members to receive at least the same compensation they would have received prior to A&M’s addition. That means A&M will see a minimum bump of $2.5 million, and closer to $3.4 million if the SEC repeats last year’s over 5% increase in overall conference monies to be distributed.
