Move Hurts to RB.
Once Bo & Damien move on, Hurts is the best one available. He may be the best one right now...

Can't wait to see him light up the scoreboards for Honolulu Tech two years from now!

Tua is legit and his time will come. Heck he's getting decent playing time now. That said, Hurts looks better as a passer this year and gets little credit for it. We just haven't thrown it a ton. He's completing close to 65% of his passes with no picks. And there's none of this jet sweep Kiffin stuff to pad his stats like last year. He's hit some deep balls and even some stuff over the middle. Heck, he had several dropped balls yesterday, 1-2 would have been TDs. I like both of our QBs a lot.

Only makes sense that little brother would go to little brother!

I was doing it before the season started. I've been watching this kid for a while.
He sees it, ball is out like lightning, mostly on target too.
Hurts is dangerous with the ball in his hands. Tua is special.

I like the fact that Saban has gotten Tua involved in games and allowed him to run the offense. All it takes is one hit, and Jalen could be out for a series, a few weeks, or even the season. I'm comfortable with our QB situation!

Everyone who subscribes to the "if you have two QBs, you don't have a QB" theory...including Greg McElroy...is too young to remember Bear Bryant's championships of the seventies.

Quite a bit different than the wishbone era.

Ask Jimbo how quick a team can lose a QB.
Best have a back up.

Mark my words. Tua will run off Hurts much like Mariota ran off Darron Thomas at Oregon.

How so? We're not talking about lack of consistency on who the starter is. Although Bryant played 2 QBs in almost all of those years starting with 1973 and Gary Rutledge/Richard Todd, there was always a clear starter. Just because Tua might get a series each half doesn't mean it's a lack of confidence in Hurts. It could give defenses one more scheme to have to plan for.

Not to mention the fact that Bryant's only undefeated national championship team of the seventies was led by a guy who was a veteran QB, yet had never started a college game before that season.

No, it wasn't.
Tua has the most potential of any QB Bama has had on campus in recent memory.
The hype around him is very different.
