I think BK lost the team at halftime vs A&M and there was no coming back from that.
BK is a good coach but I don't think he was ready for NIL and the portal. I'm not sure how true the rumors of his drinking and playing golf all the time were, people always say stuff like that when a coach leaves, but it was clear that he was struggling with how things are now.

BK was overrated and had easy street at ND.
BK was in trouble after that fam-uh-lee basketball show. Was a bad cultural fit that only complete success would overcome. Which is not easy in the SEC.
Lane is more SEC personality.

Yeah, good but not great. He definitely wasn't on Dabo, Saban, or Urban's level and that was who most of those losses were to.
I think he gets a bad rap for most of those playoff losses, no one else was beating those teams either. Saban lost to 2018 Clemson just as bad as BK did.
