I live in Louisiana and believe me, they fricking love him here. Don't let them tell you any different. He's one of the most listened to radio personalities in the state. When the LSU fanbase looks in the mirror, they see Matt Moscona. This is why they pretend to hate him.

Louisianians want their public personalities to mirror them, no matter who they are and this is especially true among their sports personalities.
One of the very worst and still most popular is Bobby Hebert. If you've never heard him, I can promise you there's no worse a sports personality in the Southeast and what makes him so bad is that he's all Louisiana. Which means he's bitter, drunk and obnoxious.
