Right now...UT would probably play in Bristol...ETSU will have a new stadium complete in 2016...I guess they could always play in the mini-dome in Johnson City.

I don't think I have ever seen this subject before on the Rant, which is pretty unusual.
It would be interesting to see what Auburn would do in that situation. Georgia Dome was my first thought, but someone mentioned maybe there would be some kind of restrictions on taking that kind of thing out of state. Legion Field and Bryant Denny (on weekends when Bama was playing away) would probably be the next two choices. I guess that small stadium down in Mobile might be another option if things were that desperate.

In case of the unthinkable were to happen, and a stadium were to implode, don't send the FBI to me.
The OP was purely conjecture and hypothetical.

I am going to go with UK getting another Hefty Lefty and moving games to Rupp Arena and playing arena football.

The closest field for Auburn in our state is historic Memorial Stadium in Columbus GA.
Seats 10-12K, I think.

Would state schools allow out of state home games? I bet some state politicians would get involved and prevent this. That would be giving up a lot of revenue from taxes to just give it to an out of state stadium. Although, I don't know how much the Commonwealth of Kentucky would give up. Maybe for UK, I could ask the question about basketball.
I don't know of a precedent so all we can do is conjecture.
I do know there are many, many UK alumni and fans in the greater Cincinnati area and that the city is UK friendly. Renting the stadium would probably be easy.
Kentucky politicians? Who can even guess what those assholes would do?
