Wade already said he won’t talk with the school until after the trial and will likely plead the 5th during the trial and not say anything self incriminating. At that point he will likely be fired and be gone. Most of our players will be gone. NCAA can’t come in and ask for Javonte’s bank records, he will tell them frick off and be gone anyway.

The issue is Wade doesn’t know what else is on the tapes. They clearly don’t have any hard evidence of money exchanging hands, so unless he specifically stated something on these tapes that can him or the school in trouble, nothing will happen except our coach and players will be gone and the basketball prorgram will be a shiteshow for the next 10 years

You're of the belief the NCAA needs hard evidence.

This is the denial stage.

All that and Mark Emmert is the president of the NCAA. LSU will "self-impose" double secret probation and the NCAA will accept that given lack of corroborating evidence or something along those lines.

NCAA needs no evidence. You seem to think that actually matters

I think that is the very very least of your concerns right now

I'm likely taking alter bait here but you do realize if the players and or the coach doesn't cooperate with an NCAA investigation they will just declare you guilty.

As much as Derrick Rose and Calipari has been discussed here this month I just assumed everyone knew this. The NCAA stripped Memphis because Rose refused to talk to them. Memphis itself went along with the investigation.

I think that tapped phone call is about as direct and solid as evidence gets. It’s a myth that you have to nail down every single aspect of a criminal act to get a conviction. Unless LSU or Wade come forward with some exculpatory evidence, that phone call is enough to convict. LSU would be convicted in a court of law, and they most assuredly will be guilty before the NCAA.

Doesn't matter in the least. Once the tapes are admitted into evidence, LSU is fricked.

Plead the fifth. That’s as good as an admission of guilt

Ok... let’s see

“NCAA cannot get Smarts bank account ...” how about the FBI? Can they get financial transactions traced?

“All players and coaches will be gone..”. as well they should be.

“They clearly don’t have evidence...” how do you know that? With OLOL burning like a dumpster, the FBI tapping like a woodpecker, multiple criminal and conspiracy charges on the horizon as half the LSU coaches compete to turn States, exactly how is it clear?

Tell me...when it is finally all out in the open that LSU paid MULTIPLE players in a really really sordid scheme, why wouldn’t all of LSUs wins be vacated?

LUSers better pray that only the basketball team is sacrificed. We all knew what WW was doing, just not how stupidly it was being done. Stupid is as stupid does and it is very possible Coach Zero laid out the OLOL scheme to Alleva in his binder presentation.

Question: If LSU gets the death penalty, how are we all going to be entertained with no rabid corn dog melts on the board? And who do we bring in to replace them? Tulane?

That's a whole lot of wishful thinking there.

Actually that's a good plan. Wade leaves with a fat settlement and LSU's report shows due diligence but no evidence of wrongdoings besides vague excerpts from two tapes.

Bullsheet! O may have tried to take credit for the OLOL scheme but the present coach of (Ark) Kansas thought that one up.

Idk there is usually a mountain of evidence when they actually punish teams.

Ole Miss has a player tell the media he got paid, screenshots of him asking for money we’re leaked and THEN they still needed a fricking NARC and hooker calls to take down Ole Miss.

Penn State literally had a 20 year cover up lead to a former DC, current school president being arrested and prosecuted in court before the NCAA decides to pee on the fire.
