Doesn't every team that wins a conference and/or NC needs a little good fortune? Bama had Florida on the ropes in 2008 SEC title game until Hightower got flagged for a PF that gave Tebow new life. In 2013 Auburn got away with an illegal lineman downfield to score the tying TD and then Chris Davis improbably run the missed FG back 109 yards to win the game and play for the NC. Which was only made possible by the Prayer at Jordan-Hare the week prior against Georgia. Otherwise Bama would've won the SEC even if losing the Iron Bowl. So Bama has had Mother Luck smile upon them at times and go against them at others.

No. Craziest start to a football game ever. Texas should have been up big on Bama with all of the mistakes but could only manage a field goal.
