I understand this is a forum and negative feedback is to be expected. Having said that I know my list is personal and other people's opinions will likely be different. It would be awesome if you guys could include feedback that is more constructive and/or a list of your own. Thanks.

I may be wrong about Ole Miss but it is my understanding that they have a culture of old money which makes their alumni network very appealing. I also think that their campus is really pretty. Perhaps the best in the SEC. Their dorms are also really nice.

In any major city in the southeast there is usually a large alumni base from Ole Miss.
A few years ago there was an alumni get together in Denver and 5000 people showed up.

I applied to 2, and was accepted at both. Arkansas and Texas a&m. Went to Arkansas.
Others accepted at were San Diego State (lived there at the time), and Texas Tech.

The Ole Miss alumni network in DC is oftentimes referred to as the "Mississippi Mafia," and not just by OM grads.

Aside from the campus and girls, nothing at Ole Miss is "very appealing".

I would not go to undergrad at TAMU, Mizzou, Arky, Miss State, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Vanderbilt or South Carolina.
I did attend Tennessee and would go to Bama, UGA, LSU and Florida though.

I applied to 3, was offered full scholarships to 2, and a half scholarship to Vandy.
Then I ended up going to Memphis
I finally saw the light about 12 years ago when I met my husband, an Ole Miss grad.
So my order would be--
1. Ole Miss
2. Vandy
3. Mizzou
4. Georgia

I've never been, I just didn't know it was that appealing of a university. From what I have been told, it is the Clemson of Alabama.

Blowin' smoke up your own skirt. That's Ole Miss for you.
