Texas would be funny because every ounce of the aggie would melt themselves into a slushy.

Well considering I have a strong belief, by the time Im old and strung out we will be seeing 4 or 5 super conferences, it sometimes interesting to discuss. But who the frick am I, this thread is an old one.

Iowa and Indiana
Iowa touches Missouri. Decent football. Basketball would be one of the best teams in the league. Top 15 baseball team. Would have two of the top wrestling programs with Iowa and Mizzou. Top 5 party school annually. Iowa City fits in surprisingly well with the best SEC college towns. Hawkeye football fanbase is a lot like SEC fanbases in passion and how well they travel.
For Indiana, Bloomington is not far from the Kentucky border. Instantly raises the SEC basketball profile. Gives Kentucky a natural rival, both basketball schools with bottom rung football teams in bordering states. Bloomington is one of the top college towns in America.

Indiana can rot for all we care. UK hates IU.
Add Virginia and North Carolina. Classy schools, completes our Southern footprint.

Works for me. Plus it adds some good roundball.

Can't argue with this at all.
But then those a-holes would tear this conference apart and that would be bad

North Carolina and either Virginia or Virginia Tech. To me that's a no brainer.
As far as Texas goes, if you don't believe us about how terrible it is to be in a conference with those assholes, ask Arkansas. Their program is poison.
