Well Aggie already over pays their coaches so we know they won’t pay for the right talent on the field...

It’s only overpaying if it’s an issue for the parties involved.
I wouldn’t pay any of these guys a fraction of what they earn.
But if the employer extends the offer, and the candidate accepts?
It is what it is.
I will forever remain puzzled why any of you ever bring up this topic.
I have great respect for almost every SEC institution; but I couldn’t care less what you pay your employees.

Harvard doesn't even put their athletes on scholarship.

The school would never pay athletes, the NCAA would just allow them to license their image and put that on the market. They could make commercials or sell video games or what not. Nothing would change at atm.
