up recruitung, I had an epipheny.

1. Assign a point value to all incoming recruits
based on an average of stars given player by
recruitung services.

2. Assign a specific numerical value that each
school isn't allowed to exceed. The value
would be the same for all schools in Div1.

3. Each school, knowing what value they can't
exceed, would have to recruit based solely
off what they could "spend" in points on a
particular player, and what their needs are.

4. Of course, the five star player's points would
be more than a one or two star.

5. The NCAA would lobby large fines against any
school that breaks the limit.

6. What this would prevent:
A. One or two schools hording high value
recruits.
B. The incentive to pay a player to come to a
particular school.

6. What this would create:
A. A more level playing field that dictates a
spreading of the wealth in player ability
B. Would erradicate oversigning of players,
because it would be too expensive for the
schools to break the limit.

I will go on to predict that all Bama and LSU fans will scream "bullshite" on this because they don't have to really recruit. A retard could recruit players to thise schools. All other schools will potentially see some benefit of a system like this. What y'all think?

focus on the wrongdoing.
make it illegal for anyone to negotiate deals pertaining to their relatives children or grandchildren or nieces and nephew.

I would like to see the NCAA be given subpoena powers like a district attorney. then we could at least catch people who lie.

your scheme is based on a point scheme that no two people agree upon.

For example, who is rated one star?
Explain why no players are rated one star.
Go ahead now.

That might be the worst idea I've ever heard.

It would help the mid-level schools like OM and MSU, so I see why you would be a proponent.

Just because MooState can not attract recruits doesn't mean those who can should be punished...

The NCAA is a corporate entity that exists at the behest of its member institutions.

Giving them subpoena power would be like saying your health insurance company can subpoena your bank records to see where you have been eating as to validate their premium rates.

Now if you want to say that the NCAA charter be revised so that a school or an athletic department's finances be available on request, that would be fine. But the NCAA will never be able to subpoena an individual's bank records to determine sources of income. That would never hold up to thefirst legal challenge. Therefore cases where wealthy boosters are giving money to players/families nothing would change.

I think it has been shown that the NCAA has no interest in doing this when involoves a school that has BCSNCG potential. If they were mandated to implement this it would end a lot of bullshite. They will just create a new loophole the next time their arse is backed into a corner. And the NCAA should also be monitired by the federal goverment as well. They have to have someone to answer to, right now, them answering to their member institutions, ain't cutting it

Me being a Bamer or a Corndog will not make your post any less idiotic.

I'm sure Utah, Boise State, San Diego State, and Rice would love your proposal.

Yea, let's water down the product even more. The 85 scholarship limitations weren't enough?

If you don't want to compete with the big boys, drop down to Division III.

Sincerely yours,

Bamer.

Awesome. It's like a video game. Even Mississippi St can become a national title contender.

It's just like the NBA, everyone outside or the states of Alabama and Louisiana really don't want to see two or three teams with all the stars and the rest of the field be the Cleveland Cavaliers. Like I stated, this won't be popular with anyone from LSU or Bama, so I could really care less what your opinions are.

Oh Hi Karl Marx that sounds like a grand idea. If only our current president would provide health care like this.
