If Tennessee wins in Athens, 1998 will die.

No team will be able to stop them. Even Alabama in Atlanta. However, 1998 lives on if Georgia wins.
Tennessee was relegated to the Nebraska of the SEC not so long ago. This year they can put that talk to bed. They won’t be this good again for the foreseeable future. Next year they take a step back.

1980 was 42 years ago. 1998 is anywhere near a drought as 1980.

Yeah but your program literally hasn’t done jack shite since 98. Haven’t even won the SEC. Your program was dead and forgotten. Everyone gave up on you, including your own fan base. You claimed to be a basketball school. Hilarious.

This is bad and you should be ashamed for making this argument. More than 2 decades is a long time dude. This drought is old enough to legally drink and it not even be a novelty anymore

Ignorance is bliss I guess.

Joe Milton, Tayven Jackson, or Nico Iamaleava step into the QB role. More than likely it’s Milton to start the season. McCoy, Keaton, White, Walker, Holiday are back with another year in system. Small, Wright, Sampson, Williams-Thomas are back at RB. 4 of 5 Oline are back.
The D front 7 lose 2 ILBs but that’s a portal for 1 and Beasley into the other. The DBs are back.

And between the portal and incoming class they will atleast be decent at worst.

Tennessee hasn't won any relevant trophy where the fans were able to celebrate on any form of social media or the internet. Al Gore hadn't even claimed to have invented the internet the last time Tenn won something.

During UGA's long NC drought, we at least won the SEC a few times.

Tennessee hasn't won a damn thing since 1998.

Ignorance is bliss. Because Tennessee hasn’t had 5 star talent for as long as 5 stars have existed, you aren’t familiar with 5 star busts.

That’s true. Tennessee’s drought is older than Facebook. Sad.

I’m sorry one more time, but make sense this time, please. If you are implying Tennessee has never had 5 star recruits that’s just ignorant. If you believe there are no 5 star guys on the team now, that’s incorrect. If you feel Tennessee is bringing in 5 star talent next year that’s incorrect also.

UGA being given a playoff spot last year has ruined your fanbase. Y’all have just embraced the willing suspense of disbelief to the point y’all can’t deal with the fact y’all are not that impressive.

Define “impressive.” Objectively we are the reigning national champions and the current undefeated #1 ranked team.

We beat the one common opponent we currently share much more convincingly if you want to make those arguments.
