The short answer....There is no top dog in the state of MS. Both athletics departments suck from top to bottom. A baseball championship won't change a darn thing.

Maybe because most everyone that attended any events in the years you refer to is currently reverting back to dust? And I chose a more recent time that blessed us with flat screen TVs, anti lock brakes, Microsoft Windows, the Nintendo 64, DVDs, and the tickle me Elmo.

They aren't winning the cws. They are still the Lil bro in Mississippi, but I don't think ole miss is really a big bro either, but they're definitely the better athletic dept out of the 2.

If Mississippi State makes sure Pedophile West doesn't win a CWS and instead wins its all I am prepared to change my team colors to them for at least the first 3 games of football.
