Just imagine if Miles did go to Alabama. And then won 3 national championships in 4 years.

Holy shite. What would LSU fans do?

I've never even seen miles coach, I don't watch y'all's practice videos, but is he actively coaching in them? On the sidelines he just stands there, claps funny, picks at his body orffaces, and sometimes eats grass or makes a mistake with clock management.

Hell yeah I'd be ok with it. If you can recruit at LSU you can recruit at Alabama. I think he'd be really successful at Alabama. It would ensure they'd keep competing for SECCs. I know there will b a dropoff after Saban. But I'm scared to death of the wrong guy being hired and Alabama sucking dick again. I've had so much fun the last 5 years.

i can promise you he wouldn't win 3 titles in 4 years. why wont he do that? because les isn't the type of man to work hard like saban. very few coaches are but les miles has a clock/game management handicap and he doesn't believe football is life. i think he would win a title with the talent bama currently has but his personality would rub off on the team and the attention to details that allows a team to win 3 out of 4 and to improve as the year goes on would be missing.

Depends on who was available at the time Bama hired him.

I'd rather he didn't go to Bama.

the first clock mistake by les would drive you nuts, not because saban hasn't made mistakes but because of how he responds to mistakes.

I was about to say. Saban has made clock management mistakes. We just don't dwell on it.

Les is good at running a football program, but I don't think he's very gifted as a football coach.

I would be fine with it for a few years. It's been proven that Miles is capable of winning a national championship with Saban's players.

Yeah, he seems more like a coach manager than a coach. I may be wrong, but just my opinion.

saban corrects them and they havent cost you a game. the other part is saban always appears in control of the situation. les miles acts like a goober so when he fricks up it just compounds the issue and then he says dumb things like i wanted to call the time out but i forgot because i was trying to set up a fg block.

either way yall would likely get a national title with les miles but it would probably look alot like les does here. Les miles isn't nick saban when it comes to work ethic or the ability to fix things in season. Les has to have a great oc and dc. saban can fix his defense as the season goes because that is his area. les doesn't have a area. He manages the program well and recruits good/ id say great but its clear we have talent gaps. we have years were he drops the ball and it all comes down to him not being as dedicated as nick saban.

Good coach and seems like a nice guy but no thanks, only because I don't think his style and personality is a good match with the Alabama program.
