No other conference had Nick Saban and Urban Meyer coaching in the same league at the same time. Those two could've accomplished the same thing in any P5 conference.

None of this is true except that AU beat UGA 41-17.
It was a fluke....but a fluke that was the catalyst to complete UGAs transformation to the top of the SEC. It was a needed reminder to the players that a bad loss can occur to an inferior team at any time if composure, focus, and physicality are not maintained.
The rematch in the SECCG was after UGA had learned their lesson and the result was a thorough azz kicking to set the record straight. AU was playing for a title and couldn't even keep it close at the end. Beating UGA in the fashion they did was the greatest gift that they could have given UGA. It completed their training under Kirby and he was able to use it to make sure his team brought its A game instead of its C- game.

To be fair, the high school pipelines in the Southeast are night and day different than the rest of the country. Only states that really rival in producing elite talent would be Texas, California and Ohio. I mean shite, UGA could literally just get the top players in their state and would still be a great team. If Oklahoma only recruited within the state, we would be irrelevant.
This is why it's so funny to see Texas suck every year. All that talent in the state and can barely get 6 wins....lol at least we can have our hate for Texas be in common....
