If Ole Miss beats Bama what ranking?

Where would you expect to see Ole Miss ranked IF they knock of Alabama?
With wins @Vandy, Texas, and Bama.
Would they jump into top 10? I would have to think so.

Ole Miss would probably jump to 8 or 9 and Alabama would fall a spot or two behind that.

you would deserve a top five ranking as much as anyone but I doubt the pollsters would make it happen

Ole Miss would be ranked #5 and get a bye for the rest of the season with an automatic bid for a BCS Bowl.
Bama on the other hand would get a "do over" in the eyes of the gumpster fans and fall out of the top 100 in every poll out there.

8 seems a little low to me. I was thinking around 12 but it would just depend on how well the rebs played. I'm just hoping I will be asking myself the same question after the game

Haha I don't mean it as anything more than just a question. Most people are saying right around where I thought. Around 8 or 9.

I think even if we lose as long as it's close we'll move up.
If we get blown out we'll probably fall out of the polls.
If we win IDGAF where we end up because I'll be dead or in jail.

That Texas win looks about as good as Bama's win over Colorado St. Dont expect Pollsters to see a win over Texas as significant.
