I think state's resume would be just as good if not better if they beat Auburn.... Otherwise yes.

If State beats Auburn tomorrow they will get my vote for #1 in the SEC right now.

We will be the ONLY team in the SEC to defeat 3 top 10 teams. State will have the best resume by a mile after tomorrow.

Two of those teams won't be in the top 25... After ole miss beats Texas A&M ... Then what do you have to hang your hat on? Especially after Gus bus runs you over?

If State beats Auburn then they can talk. If not then their 2 "big" wins are against a future 6-6 LSU team and an at best 8-4 A&M.
With OM beating Bama and A&M (assuming we win for argument sake)
Beating Bama A&M > Beating LSU and A&M
