Being from Mississippi I always wondered just how good of a program the state would have if there was only one Division 1 team in the state, instead of three.
They would certainly be as good as L5U. Perhaps even better.

No one is going to argue that the 90s were bad for our football program but to say that we were as bad as Ole Miss for our entire history is laughable. The joke that LSU football started in 2000 is a myth.
