Does a 12-1 Bama team get into the title game over a 12-0 ND or a likely 13-0 OSU team in a weak Big 10? Not a flame just wondering yalls thoughts if OSU had taken a bowl ban last year instead of this season would Bama have gotten into the game over them?

No. If OSU were eligible, OSU and ND play and Bama thumps Louisville in the Sugar Bowl...

If the world had ended on schedule prior to the NCG, does Bama dynasty happen?

Does this shitty thread happen?

Does anyone notice or care?

Do they now?

It's hard to know in a what-if scenario like this. Personally, I don't think they would've been in the national championship even at 13-0. OSU's schedule is probably even weaker than Notre Dame's and they had close games against mediocre teams like Indiana, Purdue, and Cal. Other than Nebraska they got played close by almost every decent Big 10 team. And beating Nebraska a second time would hardly get them any extra credit since they scored 63 points on them earlier in the season.

If a frog had a pocket for a .38, would he worry about snakes eating him?

This plus more.

One more team would have taken NIU out of it. ( NIU drops in BCS rankings one spot)
So Bama would have played Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl and Texas A&M would have Played Texas in the Cotton Bowl.

It took OKie State to miss a field goal and Ohio State to be in eligible for this dynasty to happen.

Both OSUs can go frick themselves

Oh yeah.

If Ohio State was eligible for postseason, Tressel would still be there, and they'd still be the same old mediocre tOSU they've been since fricking 2002, so every one of these "WUT IF OHIGHO STATE IS NOT ON PROBATION??????" threads fricking suck, as do the people who make them.

Just sayin'.

Saw an interview with "BCS expert" Brad Edwards after the regular season. He said Ohio State would have been 3rd in BCS rankings - and well behind Bama.

If Tennessee can block Mt. Cody, does the dynasty even get off the ground?

Fair is fair: if Alabama can complete a clutch drive in the IB the next year, do they fourpeat?
