If Nick Saban is the GoaT, why did he lose to Gus and Orgeron last year?

In fact he’s lost two out of the last three to Gus.

Lost back to back games to Freeze, who is now the head coach at some place called Liberty

Spurrier owned his arse going back to his LSU days. When Spurrier beat him again in 2010 he made sure Scar didn’t appear on the schedule for another ten years. Had to preserve that historic rivalry with Tennessee

Things like this make it impossible for me to include him in the GoaT conversation
quote:

"I really feel it was a pretty unfair play at the end of the game," Saban said. "They substituted the punter as a wide receiver so we put the punt team in, and when the quarterback was still in there we tried to put the defense back in, I thought they should’ve given us a little more time to substitute and get Waddle out as a returner (but) we get called for 12 guys on the field. That was very disappointing.

Interesting that an Alabama fan posts a gay picture into this discussion.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

I asked my paw back in the nineties:

Me: “Paw? Will Miami and Florida State ever have a bad season?”

Paw: son, everything is cyclical. They will have bad seasons. Everyone declines.

Gus is still only 3-4 versus Saban with his JHS voodoo.

Nick has lost the locker room. Anybody who has watched sports long enough can see it. Bama fans know this in their hearts.

Coach Sabah is such a defensive genius that he lets 35 year old Pete Goldwing call the shots.

OR

Pete Goldwing didn’t actually run the defense and Sabah just gave up 40+ three times in one calendar year.

Hmmmm...
