What does it say if the number 2 team loses to the number 3 team? Wow, I don't know. The implications are enormous.

It doesn't say s*** I honestly do not believe Alabama is going to beat Michigan State it is the absolute worst match up possible for Alabama this particular
Michigan State has a hell of a lot better of a quarterback they have a better offensive line and while their defense isn't as good as Alabama's its not far behind at all and their secondary is better. Bama under Saban has played has played a hand full of teams with qbs of this quality while at bama this is good
Stafford:won
Mallett:won
Johnny football : lost
Cam: lost
Cook is better than all but cam
Bama s real strength is depth. But states d is so good bama won't have

I disagree. I think Clemson would have been the easiest, but I think Alabama will match up really well against Mich State.

Accurate qbs is the kryptonite of Saban. Yeah what would not be good either but maybe msu has a more stout d
Because outside of 2011 their secondary has soft spots

This is total crap. Let's begin
Hell of a better qb hmm Jake Coker better QBR and pass complete percentage.
Offensive Line, well Alabama is ranked 22 in rushing offense while mich state is 66. Sacks allowed both Bama and MSU are at 13.
LINK
Bama hasn't faced a qb this good in years?
Brandon Allen
Chad Kelly
Josh dobbs
Dak Prescott
All have better stats in every category see this thread
LINK
So everything you said is completely wrong
Oh and Bama defensive rank is 2 MSU is 26 we have played approx 4 better defensive teams

Its the same every year. If Alabama wins the team that they played is not worth a shite. If they lose how on earth can they lose with all that talent and are overrated. It is football people. The best team does not always win. It is the team that plays the best on that day.

Spurrier dominated the SEC to a greater extent than Saban has. And Spurrier did it at a time when the East had very strong UGA and UT programs, and the SEC was not the premier conference at that time. He had to do it during years when UT, UGA, LSU, and Auburn were all top-10 teams. Also the national championship had to route through the state of Florida due to UF, FSU, and Miami all being elite. And, both Michigan and Ohio State were legit, and Nebraska was at its zenith.
Only LSU in 2011 was a comparable national title opponent to those in contention back in the 90s. Of course, it's LSU, so they tend to wilt against Bama. Texas in 09 would have been blasted by UF and a few others. Cincinnati was even money against that Texas team. Notre Dame was a joke. Everyone knows that. That game was over after the first five plays.
Bama fans should just be happy about their success, and not attempt ridiculous statements like Saban being more dominant than Spurrier was. Saban better rattle off about 4 more SEC titles before that talk is legit.
When Nick Saban wakes up each morning, he shits into the toilet more success then what Steve Spurrier accomplished.
Greater extent? Saban is 35-5 in the SEC the last 5 years. During that stretch the SEC WEST has been the best division college football has ever seen.
The two are not even comparable and should not even be mentioned in the same sentence.
Spurrier used to bitch about how can Alabama not win more games with the talent saban has. Well steve you know what, you had the same amount of talent when you were at florida and didn't accomplish any where near what Saban has.
The Sec right now is light years ahead of what it was in the 90's LSU, Alabama, Arkansas, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Miss state weren't good. There was no A&M or Mizzou. Basically steve needed to beat tennessee and georgia.
Saban is two wins away from being the best college football coach of all time. Hell have 5 titles, and will have done it at a time when its been the hardest.

lol, what if the game gets cancelled because Jake Coker has the flu. What if. Go back to putting your puzzle together.

CFB doesn't have any truly elite teams right now and hasn't since Bama and LSU went at it for the title and 2008 UF.
So he hasn't done it at a time when.its the hardest.
The 90s had some absolutely beastly Nebraska, FSU, UF and UT teams that would destroy today's best teams.

Wow. That's just dumb. Today's players are 35-40 lbs heavier across the line. And they are faster. Evolution of the game. 2015 Bama would crush 1995 Nebraska. So would UT, LSU and all other SEC teams. Google the starting lineups and just look at the size difference.

Today's players are getting soft and prina Donna ....95 nebrska would crush any team this year. No one would stop their option game.

Yea, Derrick Henry and Reggie Ragland are soft. Kenyan Drake was playing with a broken arm in the SECCG. A modern team would absolutely destroy a team from two decades ago. 20 years from now, you will be able to say the same thing. It's called evolution.

Those 90s teams were freak athletes too....you Bamers are delusional.... You think Saban invented football...
Spurrier 90s teams would pick most of these Saban teams' defenses apart.
SEC teams don't even field good passing qbs nowadays with odd exceptions such as Braysus every now and then.

And yes, today's players are freakin soft in comparison to yesterday's players...not all ofcourse but in general... The rules are slowly turningit into flag football and the recruiting frenzy and special treatment is going to these kids heads.
