And if Greg McElroy wasn't playing with broken ribs we would have scored 50 on Texas. They knew we were not going to be able to throw and we still ran it down their throats.

Curiously, was the melt on ITAT as bad as I imagine it was after Bama got finished running Texas through and ruining their football program?

McCoy quit. He wasn't too hurt to come back into that game. He's a pussy and everyone knows it.

Maybe would if we didn't fix the issue which we have. They are now on the bench

Colt McCoy wasn't the one who gave up two different 100+ yard rushers and 4 rushing TDs after coming into the game as the #1 rush defense in the entire country.

Soooo...

Yeah, but don't you remember that the Teasips were saying something to the effect of McCoy being the leader of the defense.

Their line of reasoning was that after McCoy went down, the leader of their defense was gone and they no longer really knew what to do.

Apparently McCoy ran both the offense and defense, according to every single poster on ShaggyBevo.

Texas was crushing Bama on both sides of the ball up until McCoy got hurt.. Then Bama opened a can of whoopass, but Texas came back and made it interesting, but it wasn't enough. Turned out to be a pretty good game..

But, Bama was getting manhandled up to the McCoy injury/quitting or whatever you wanna call it. And that's not to say it would've continued that way... momentum can change in a second.

Ah hell, Bama was due. Texas was 7-0-1 vs Bama alltime coming into that game. The injury helped them get over the hump. DKR owned the Bear too. Even taught him the wishbone.
