well the #1 goal of a football player is to win a title, so yeah...I'm assuming he does care about that.

you have proof that he doesn't like winning football games and doens't want to win a national title? Where?

I think it would be bad fricking arse if he just held a press conference, tore the NCAA a new a-hole and was like "frick this, i'm out".

he's not going to do this, but i wish somebody would. it would have to be someone in Gurley's situation with basically guaranteed first round money and nothing to lose. But I'm sure TG wants to win a SEC/National Title.

You think his agent hasn't brought this to his attention?

Priorities my man. A selfless teammate does want these things. But TGII is proven not selfless in the team concept.

I imagine he would lose a bit of money if he publicly held a press conference just to say frick you to the NCAA

If TG3 comes back , he will become the change of pace tailback at UGA.
MR should consider his dismissal.

Nick Chubb will carry the load, and he should.

UGA's defense needs to continue to Grow.

Why?

The NFL don't give a frick about college.

He could make a social statement by doing this and completely change the tables on the NCAA hypocrisy, being somewhat like what Curt Flood was to baseball and free agency.

No, the NFL doesn't care about college but they do care about character issues. I'm not saying he would drop out of the first round or anything

And you're assuming that every player that knowingly breaks a rule doesn't care about his team.

Ya'll are reading way too much into that.

Never said he didn't care about his team, but that it is a fact that he cares about something other than "team" just a little bit more.

ehh that's debatable. Knowingly breaking a rule is knowing you are putting your football career at risk, which points to not caring about a team a little bit

need to move the requirement for the draft to two years instead of 3, or maybe just 20 years old before the draft. not gonna be many guys able to do that, but the gurleys and clowneys of the world need that to happen.

We can potentially be 8-1 ranked around 8 or 9 going into auburn, controlling our own destiny and a shot at the natty still on the line.

He wouldn't walk away in this situation and it would be shitty of him to do so. However, what if we lose to UF and UK and we're 6-3 with Mizzou likely winning the East and not even a shot at the division on the line? Would you be ok with him giving McGarity the finger then? I know I would be.
