Hugh will be hard to fire. He's an Archie endorsed OM homeboy.

I can understand this.

It's quite ironic that Hugh was supposed to be the offensive savior, but the defense is carrying the team while the offense shits the bed.

Then you can understand that any objective person can step back and say that where we are is great and even if we were not playing as well as we have been it would still be a major improvement over Nutt's last year.

That motherfricker ruined 2 of my 4 seasons as a student.

Yeah it sucks pretty bad. I'm withholding judgement until next year when he has all of his recruits playing.

Still don't like the approach to the run game...

Pretty sure Tunsil didn't start the Vandy game although he played a good bit...

Their OL situation is a funny one, in that most of us saw it coming from a mile away, although they argued with me about it from 2012-fall practice. When a preceding coach misses on the position for multiple years, you never adequately fill that gap regardless of how well you recruit. You can afford to miss on one year but not two, and for all intents and purposes, Nutt missed on 3...

And Hevesy isn't walking into that meeting room in Oxford.

Ruined all of my trips to Oxford during highschool. And his psychological imbalance was more fun than Nutt's.

Matt Luke is an excellent OL coach. I hope they are as impatient as they seem and use him as a scapegoat...

Maybe Hugh has not fired Luke because he realized he would not have a job without Tunsil.

I really don't get your argument.

Would dan have a job without Dak?

That happens all of the time with QB's. Not so much with an offensive tackle. So I find it more interesting.

Yes.

We would have been fine with McCray last season(as we were in 2012 with him).

We would be 6-2 right now without Tunsil and would end the season 7-5, maybe 8-4.

Freeze would still have a job.

Plus, had Tunsil not come, Golson would still be here and we would have signed Dan Skipper. We would have been okay.

Yes. Freeze was getting five years regardless.

Well yeah. I meant even if didn't go to a bowl the past two years then he'd still get five. If years 3,4,5 were all bowl less then we would've tried again with another coach but that would've been the only way to get rid of him.
