Do you think this season he can improve his completion percentage against SEC teams to say 40%?

Hahahaha. Dude. Kyle Allen has a stronger arm. Dak probably does too. That's just in the West. Y'all are unbelievable.

15 Strongest Arms in CFB for '15

NFL Scouts list Jeremy Johnson, Dak, and Coker as having the strongest arms in the SEC.. no Harris or Allen though...

He is looking light years better in camp from where he was last fall. He's put in the work in the spring and summer and appears to be paying dividends. He will start, but until the lights are on against a worthy opponent we won't know for sure what we really have. He's an impressive kid but once he gets hit will he revert back to old bad habits? There's no way to know right now. Les is making the QBs live for the scrimmage tonight which i think is a good idea.

40% should be high enough to beat awBurn.

Think about it, Jarrett Lee/Jordan Jefferson were 3-1 against the war chickens.

Also consider awBurn has not beat LSU at home this century and Les Miles has won 3of4 and 7of10 since he has been at LSU.

Any chance of highlights? Or is there any video of him throwing from this fall practice?

I remember AU fans always hearing before the season how Kiehl Frazier was coming along, but I can clearly remember being at both the 2011 and 2012 season openers and watching the QB's warm up pregame and how ugly Frazier's throws were. Sometimes you just gotta see for yourself instead of taking the coaches word for it.

lol no. Pretty sure they would arrest anyone walking into TS tonight without an engraved invitation.

Here's video of the QBs from earlier in camp though

things are not always as they seem amigo. since all practices and scrimmages (so far) are closed to all (including the media) no one knows what struggles are happening. lsu fans are nervous that last years QB will play even if he loses the competition. what you have here is not a contradiction in logic but an irrational belief by a vocal minority in the LSU fanbase that insists that les miles plays the worst QB intentionally to tweek the fans.

I know, it's irrational and it's crazy. my advice is to stay the hell off of the Tiger rant.

Brandon Harris doesn't have a stronger arm than Kyle Allen. I don't know why you're trying to fool yourself.

This seems like a contradiction in logic. So even though Harris is struggling to beat a horrible QB for the starting position, we are to assume that if Harris wins the job, Harris will be a great QB and save LSU's season

He is not struggling to win the job. Listening to insiders, players, and reading between the lines of coach-speak, Harris has separated.

Our offense will have a much different look, and less predictable.

IDK, man. He completed 20% of his passes again Auburn last year. So if he doubles his production this season then LSU should be good for a whopping 14 points... not sure that's enough to beat Auburn though.

Different coach at AU... living in the past.

You'd think that LSU fans would have learned their lesson against these types of arguments last season. All that spouting on tRant about how MSU couldn't beat them because of how long it'd been, and for what? But I guess it's pretty hard for anybody who uses the term "awBurn" to learn anything.

Kyle Allen was the number one QB recruit in the nation, and arm strength was his undisputed best characteristic. Brandon Harris wasn't even close to sniffing 5 star status, and his mobility is his best characteristic. Neither are probably listed because they aren't draft eligible.

He's had another year in the system, if you've played sports you know what a difference that can make. Stop flaming. If he can take the field with any amount of confidence it will be a huge upgrade in ability alone. Anyone who thinks he will be a world beater is probably being naive. But those saying he's not going to be an improvement are just being belligerent.

He throws a nice long ball, but a lot of his short/ medium passes seem kind of low.

i'm less worried about that kind of stuff and more about how he reacts to adversity and if he uses his head under pressure.

What does that have to do with Kyle Allen having a stronger arm than Brandon Harris? Your reading comprehension might be great for a swamp kitten, but in general it is pretty poor.
