We need him to struggle with a little bit of adrenaline when he tries to do that in this game.
If you're hoping for nerves you're shite outa luck

Niazalek has been every bit as good of a punter as Bama's... no knock on your guy... because he's been excellent
I, admittedly, have not followed UGA's game closely enough to have seen his punts.
I can say that Scott has had to kick some shorter punts due to short fields. His average gets hurt by those, but he's still well up there in average.
To clarify:
JK Scott - 52.38% of punts inside the 20 (#3 in the country), 9.52% of punts returned (#3 in the country)
Cameron Nizialek - 44.9% of punts inside the 20 (#16), 22.45% of punts returned (#37 in the country)
Of course, neither guy punts a LOT - meaning a big kick or shank has a larger impact (Scott is 6th in fewest punts, Nizialek is 14th)
I'm not saying that Alabama has a "significant" advantage at punter, but I still believe ours is a bit better. Case in point is the LSU game. JK Scott averaged 51.6 yards per punt on 8 punts - he flipped the field the entire game for us, not just once or twice.
I mean, I didn't do an in-depth analysis of PK when I just assumed UGA had the better kicker. Glancing at pre-playoff stats, they had the same number of FGs - Andy had tried for more from 40+ (4/8 as opposed to 3/5 for Rodrigo).
On the flip side, both teams have been kind of mediocre on punt returns and solid on kick returns. Neither has a return for a TD, but UGA and Alabama are top 4 in the conference in KO returns but bottom 6 in punt returns.

Well done.
Yeah JK is damn good.
Andy Pap just needs a convo with our PGA guy before the game and he is lights out.

JK Scott's the best non-LSU punter I've ever seen. He might be better than Donnie Jones and Brad Wing but my bias won't let me concede that.

That 55 yarder he nailed at the end of the 1st half was amazing

Alabama's punter is legitimately a game changer paired with their defense. He keeps the other team in their own half the whole game and eventually one of those offensive 5 stars will make a play and they'll get in the end zone.
Then, you'll be pressing on offense late in the 3rd quarter trying to get back in it, and a fumble/int will happen and a defensive 5 star will get in the end zone.
It reminds me of a boa constrictor, slowly tightening around it's prey

I said that special teams, TO ratio, and field position would be the deciding factors. Yes sir, said it on Monday on the GSB In a thread. Don't think either team scores over 21

That move he made after his interception was prety damn good for a man of that size. Freak athlete.

Hang time, not distance.
Distance is a nice bonus, though.

I’m not very confident in Bama’s Greek FG kicker at all. If the game turns into a FG contest I give the advantage to Georgia. But on punting and field position I give a slight nod to Bama. I could see this game turning into a 15-12 type game.

I said ARGUABLY the best punter in the nation.
And it would be a bad argument. Michael Dickson was the Ray Guy award winner, unanimous All-American, 3rd in punting avg., 1st in Net Punting, Bowl game MVP, and will be the 1st punter picked in the draft.
Scott is top 3 IMO. That’s still great, and I do agree he’s better than our kicker.
