How many Gumps does it take to change a light bulb? Three, one to change it and two to stand around and talk about how good the old bulb was.

Keys for a stable marriage in Alabama. The couple shares enough things in common such as interests, goals, morals, and grandparents.

Yes he is. This isn't news to anyone who reads the drivel he regularly posts on the Bama board.

It’s looking more and more like he and his offensive staff rode the arm of a generational college QB to massive paydays, and now the flaws are showing.
"During his 27 years in coaching, he has consistently prospered at multiple levels and in different roles, helping to build and revitalize programs while establishing a diverse network of contacts across the country, in both coaching and recruiting. In 10 seasons as a head coach, DeBoer accumulated a record of 113-16, which includes a 25-3 record in his previous stop with the Washington Huskies and three NAIA National Championships at Sioux Falls.

DeBoer owns a 15-3 record against top-25 teams in his five combined seasons at Fresno State, Washington and Alabama. Including the 2024 campaign, his 15 wins since 2021 are the second-most victories against top-25 teams among active head coaches during that time. He also boasts a staggering 26-8 record in one-score contests across his 10 years as a head coach.
"

You people fight each other to see which can be "#1 idiot" of T Rant.

When you lose football games because you’re manhandled you already know the losing coach is not a winner. Bama was manhandled by FSU and UGA. That doesn’t happen with a competent head coach with a playoff team.

This is the ramblings of someone who 24/7 lives vicariously through a college football team.

What you say could never happen to Bama.
Oh?

I give you the years 1997 - 2006

Bama had three 10 win seasons, two 7 win seasons, and the other 5 a combined 30-42.

It wasn’t even that long ago.

If DeBoer goes it would be a good thing. I’ll take a couple of bad years to get the right person.

Who would that be? All the people wanting to ship out DeBoer need to explain who their replacement hire would be.

I know. I am just going by what the Bama fans, on this site, say and believe.

You can tell Bama fans were spoiled by Saban bc they actually think they can get back to that level. I don’t see it happening regardless of who you hire.

Once DeBoer leaves these same people saying I’m a troll will be repeating what I’m saying as if it’s their original thought. Just watch. There is a certain percentage of the fanbase that is blindly loyal to the bitter end. Remember there were some pissed off people when they fired Shula.
I'm still fine with Deboer but he has to shitcan Grubb and fix the offense next year. Wommack has been a star and recruiting is going great.
