I agree. Very bizarre. Reminds me of the time LSU hired LK. Bama posters here, you included, said he sucked, but then turned around and claimed they could and would hire him away from LSU.

Very, very bizarre behavior here.

Nobody is paying that buyout.

We don't put high buyouts on our coaches. Nick Saban could have left at any time and Alabama would be owed $0. He never had a buyout for leaving.

If someone wants to take DeBoer, the buyout is like $4 million. The buyout you are thinking of is what it would cost Alabama to fire him, which I think is like 60+ million right now.

So really, all anyone has to do is make him a better offer that he wants. Same as it was with Saban.

I gotcha! I don't think he is leaving for that shite show up there. It would be a dumb move.

Yeah, I see no reason for him to leave. Unless he just wants the cupcake schedules etc. We've got the #2 class this year(and I wouldn't trade with the #1 class), so he's going to get everything he needs to be successful. The only downside is that we are in the SEC and play tough schedules.

I don’t either. I think he stays.

But, there is definitely a logical reason to leave the expectations of Alabama to an easier Big10 schedule and room to rebuild Michigan.

Why are so many ranters giddy about him taking every high profile job that becomes available? It is bizarre to watch the two completely opposite narratives jockey for position on the front page.

Keep your dress on, Sally. It's the same reason everyone ribs us about Lane leaving. Everyone likes to poke a little. Kinda like your uncle did, when he babysat you, when you were a little girl.

I know I wouldn't want to go up there and freeze my nuts off during the winter. I don't like that area of the country anyway. Lower Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana all suck balls. There is nothing to look at. I would rather live in Wyoming or Colorado if I had to deal with snow and colder temperatures.

For sure, aside from the mountain views, the lower humidity makes a huge difference.

That and fishing in the North Platte river is therapy to me. I need to get back up that way this next summer.

Wait until you find out some of the horrible things LSU fans posted about Lane Kiffin before he was hired by LSU. Heck, I can remember when Lame was hired at Alabama. He was going to destroy Alabama football. Those were fun times.

And I have never said he would be hired as Alabama’s head coach. I am on record as saying he is blackballled at Alabama, and the only way he would be hired is if Alabama has a new AD and a few particular influential boosters die.

I'm from Louisiana, and I went to two different SEC schools. I can look at things without my Purple & Gold sunglasses. I loved my time in Starkville, and I loved my time in Baton Rouge. I am currently laid up keeping warm on the couch with a 55 pound male 3-year-old English Bulldog.
