They beat Nebraska and lost to Iowa by 3. Basically they're the same team as Michigan State?
Well I don't think Sparty is that good this year. I'd call them weak actually. I think the B10 this season is a dumpster fire and the only decent team is tOSU.. who would be similar to LSU if they played in the SEC.. 3 losses. I'm pretty sure Michigan St would be 4+ losses in the SEC. They don't have an offense worth speaking of and the defense is average. I've watched them play and they are basically 2009 LSU.
I'm going to guess.. unless Alabama comes out flat somehow or gives up points through ST/turnovers.. 42-13.

Um. Syracuse is a rent a win and Wisconsin isn't. So... you're dumb.
Wisconsin didn't beat a single team with a winning record.. the opponents they beat combine for 34 wins, 75 losses.. or a better way to say it is that the teams Wisconsin beat this season have a 32% winning percentage

They didn't beat a single team with a pulse

Absolutely. Certainly wouldn't want to leave out Henrys freshman season. Can I assume we are going to leave out the 4 SEC games he didn't play in that year when figuring up those "numbers in sec play, power 5 play, fbs winning play, and ranked opponents play?"

Wisconsin isn't great but they are much better overall than Syracuse and have a very good rush defense.
Wisconsin : #28 S&P, #25 Massey Comp, #26 FPI, #22 Sagarin
Syracuse : #72 S&P, #88 Massey Comp, #81 FPI, #82 Sagarin

Right. So what is LF7's excuse for not even being invited to the ceremony if he's better than Henry?
When did the heisman become a positional award?

What McCaffrey has done is incredibly impressive. That being said, if Henry returned kicks, he'd have similar numbers. McCaffrey's stats are opportunity driven, he doesn't out-talent Henry.
There is no way Henry could return kicks. He gets 40+ carries a game. He doesn't catch passes either.
Should give it to the best all-around player, which is not Henry, who is a one trick pony.

Anyone who doesn't see what Henry does for his team doesn't really know shite about football.
Control the clock, keep the other teams offense off the field, 23 TDs, picks up his blocks, can break the long run on any given snap.
All this behind an average, at best, OL. Other than Center, Kelly, the Bama OL is very suspect. Nysewander is the second best run blocker on the team.
And Henry still hasn't peaked. He will do that in the NFL since he obviously won't return.
That being said, the Heisman would be cool for him acknowledging all his hard work, but when all is said and done, the Heisman isn't that important unless you're a team that doesn't play for Championships year in and year out.

No, I mean Cuse is considered a rent a win by a team like Bama. I can understand it's not by LSU.

Wisconsin is shite. They didn't beat anyone with a pulse. Both Wisky and Syracuse are in P5 conferences.
You don't have a clue what "rent a win" means. Using your loose definition, A&M would be ours.

The highest ranked team that Alabama beat is Florida.
The following higher ranked teams were beaten by Michigan State:
Oregon
Michigan
Ohio State
Iowa
Sparty has better wins than Alabama. They are boring but they are going to punch Alabama in the mouth, unlike just about all the teams that Alabama played.

Ah, I gotcha. You too don't understand the meaning of rent a win.
You see, LSU travelled to Syracuse.

Every single person that's paid to evaluate talent disagrees with you. No one thought Henry should sit out his junior years because he was a lock for top 10 pick.
LF is faster, has better vision, runs more physically, and is more agile than Henry.

They can both help Deshaun carry his bags around

And players have won the Heisman with 8-9 win teams before so the "team around him sucks" argument isn't an excuse.
bullshite. Tebow is the only recent winner with more than 2 losses.
Hell ingram won the Heisman for a season where he had 2 games of 30 yards rushing,33 games where he didn't rush for 60 yards and 5 games with less than 100 yards rushing.

If I had a vote, it'd be Christian McCaffrey. Bias aside, he's been the best and most exciting player in college football this year.
1) Christian McCaffrey
2) Derrick Henry
3) Deshaun Watson

Boogers vision is not that good.
In games where he was hit before he was 5 yards past the line of scrimmage he was average to bad.

Championship weekend lived up to the hype, especially in regards to the top Heisman candidates in the country. A number of expected finalists made their final push as we conclude what should be a wide open race. It’s a well-rounded group of candidates — whether you’re looking for an all-purpose superstar, workhorse running back, dual-threat quarterback, or simply an overachieving walk-on leading his team to a playoff berth. Here’s a look at our top candidates for the Heisman Trophy:
1. Christian McCaffrey, RB, Stanford Putting together a monster game before midnight Eastern Time can only help McCaffrey’s candidacy, as he capped off a record-setting season by putting on a show against USC. Even beyond the all-purpose yards record that can be heavily inflated by kick return yardage, McCaffrey had 2,387 yards from scrimmage, while posting our second-best grade as a runner at +29.9 while topping all running backs with a +13.3 mark as a receiver. Stanford used McCaffrey’s all-around skills in creative ways, even using him to throw for two touchdowns. Coming into the weekend, consensus around PFF was that it was McCaffrey’s trophy to lose and he capped his season in style while leading Stanford to a Pac-12 championship.

If Henry and McCaffrey deal teams, who has the better season?
