Alabama and Saban will have a Heisman winner at RB (2), WR, and QB. That's just ridiculous. The way he evolved to survive yielded great results

And will now have more Heisman winners than AU which was always the talking point pre-Saban for the barners to mitigate having less championships, wins, bowls, everything else about a football program, etc.

If Young wins, Bama will have gone from 0 Heisman winners to 4...all in a 12 year time period. Under Saban, Bama will be averaging one Heisman winner every 3 years

Going back to back isn't bad either.

These last 2 years of heisman were a joke. Plus McCfarrey should have won

Mcwhitey arguments are a joke. As a RB, which is what he was, he had 7 rushing TDs and 3 of those came against northwestern, 9ne of the worst rushing defenses in the country that year. I get the AP yards and some more TDs but he falls far short of Henry's season and don't even mention that fat arse gearhart.

Many a Heisman winner never made it to even a practice squad in the NFL. BAMA Heisman winners seem to do just fine at the next level.

You gotta admit. It’s always fun seeing how LSU fans cope with Bama’s success. Sometimes they even get creative.

Also, you need to separate what Saban is doing versus what Bama is without him. Enjoy it while it last, because it won't.

Alabama has a LONG history of dominance.

Since the 1920's, Alabama has won at least 1 NC every decade except the 50's and 80's.

Alabama has 5 head coaches to win the national title while there, with 4 of them winning multiple titles.

Alabama has a winning record over every team they have played 10 or more times (and is the only school that can say that.)

Alabama has been doing really well for a long time.

"Joke" Heisman Winner Bryce Young through 13 games in 2021

4322 yards, 43 tds, 4 ints

Super awesome mega bestest EVAR Joe Burrow through 13 games in 2019

4715 yards, 48 tds, 6 ints

But I'm sure there is a logical explanation. Bryce Young mustve had better weapons and O-Line or something

Hiesman years ago was for a senior that without him the team would not be the same. In my opinion when Bret Favre did not win the trophy it proved nothing but political. As a matter of fact Alabama is nothing but 5 stars. If Bryce got hurt the team would keep chugging along.

But LSU went 15-0 and won the Heisman in 2019.

So clearly that one year trumps everything that Bama has done under Saban

Before Saban, Alabama had never won the heisman. There were a few in the top ten but the closest Bama came to the heisman was in 1993 when David Palmer came in 3rd.

During the Saban era...

2009 - Mark Ingram became Alabama's 1st winner.

2011 - Trent Richardson 3rd.

2013 - AJ McCarron 2nd.

2014 - Amari Cooper 3rd.

2015 - Derrick Henry became Alabama's 2nd winner.

2018 - Tua Tagovailoa 2nd.

2020 - Devonta Smith became Alabama's 3rd winner; Mac Jones 3rd; & Najee Harris 5th.

In the last 12 years, Bama has had 6 players invited to New York (not counting the 2 last year - no New York ceremony).
