This

That will get you fired at ANY JOB IN AMERICA... except the presidency. Although you have to give partial credit for that to Slick Willy himself for being a master wordsmith and a smooth as silk operator. That man could talk his way into nuns arse on her deathbed.

Does CMR own a motorbike? This all just seems surreal to be honest.

You just changed the wording of that tweet from "may be" to "is".

Huge difference.

If Bobby P isn't forced it shows how desperate that program is to field a competitive team is. Think back to the media firestorm that was created when ole Booby left a note on the locker of the Falcons players as he ran away in the middle of the night.

If Arkansas didn't have strict language in his contract for morality, ethic and integrity...then they are fools and if they did and now choose to ignore thier on contract...they are hypocrites.

Anything short of separation brings shame to the institution and the state.

It would be pretty pitiful, desperate and spineless if Arkansas continues to employ this proven POS. But I'm not holding my breath expecting integrity from them.

Oh I know but the wording in the tweet he just quoted was "may be" and then he changed it himself to "is".

The statement "is" allows no leeway which is not what the original sentence said.

sure doesn't mean he will but being placed on administrative leave certainly looks like the AD is covering all of its bases to make sure they won't face a wrongful termination suit by firing him prematurely.

If it was I wouldn't have a problem, I work with Petrino every fall and he's a huge a-hole.

But he ain't gettin canned over this, much to the chagrin of the Sec.

Wrong.

University faculty, administrators, and other supervisory staff should be aware that any sexual involvement with their students or employees could subject them to formal action if a sexual harassment complaint is subsequently made and substantiated, and that they bear the greater burden of responsibility should it be proven that the power differential between them made the relationship other than fully consensual. Even when both parties have consented to a relationship, it is the faculty member, administrator, or supervisor who may be held accountable for unprofessional behavior. Other students or employees may allege that the relationship creates a hostile or abusive environment affecting them. Graduate assistants, residence hall staff, tutors, and undergraduate course assistants who are professionally responsible for students will be held to the same standards of accountability as faculty in their relationships with students whom they instruct or evaluate.

Having sex with a subordinate does not instantly equal sexual harassment. It has to be proven that this played a part in her getting the job. This may be easily proven when they look at who else applied for the job...but I have a feeling if it can be shown that she had the credentials by her own merit, that they may find a way to wiggle out of having to fire him or her.

Sure man, that is the only possibility, because you say so.

We will ignore what Long actually said and go with your version.

He gone.

He'll be fired. They'll do a quick search and decide what they will do. This ain't Vermont.
