So Cincy is more recently relevant than UF.

Horribly sad, but thanks for the clarification.

The fall of Florida is almost tragic. It seems without sociopaths like Spurrier and Aaron Hernandez, you guys can’t compete.

The best players in Arkansas are leaving to play for a real coach

I think TWill and Petrino are doing pretty well, why wouldn’t they want to play for them?

If he continues to win he can go Michigan when their coach is fired.

Florida hasn’t been relevant in a while and has 3 national titles in the last 3 decades. Texas has 1 in the last half century lol

If Florida’s in a fall - Texas just sucks and has its pathetic fanbase resorting to celebrating losing their last game of the year to Washington as accomplishments now.

1 championship in 50 years and this dipshit is lecturing me about who is elite lmao

I’m honestly at a loss how to communicate to you the concept of current relevancy in college football and have you understand. I’ve said it multiple different ways, and yet you keep defaulting to an all-time (or at least the last 50 years) argument.

Let me try it this way; Florida is the Blockbuster of college football. Once upon a time they were strong and well-respected and considered leaders. The world fundamentally changed and Blockbuster couldn’t keep up and, while they used to be relevant, they are relevant no more.

In the year of our Lord 2024 and for the foreseeable future with your coach and players, UF is simply not relevant in college football.

Mississippi State with their coach and QB have shown more upside and potential for future relevance than UF has inspired this year.

Let that sink in.

You’re lecturing on being a powerhouse bc your team won 12 games last year for the first time in 15 years. Congratulations.

And congratulations on your subjective term of “relative”. Keep patting yourself on the back and telling yourself you’re an elite program bc you’re “relevant”

However, the objective fan would look at one program who has 1 national title in the last 50 years and declare them objectively wrong proclaiming themselves as an elite program. Which, if you were a rational human, you could actually grasp. And understand that the amount of shite you guys spew on here, is absolutely absurd given how little hardware you have. Which is why I began calling you faggs out to begin with.

It worked when you were in the Big12 and no one had a national title in the last 20 years in that conference. You could flex, unfortunately for you, 4 teams in this conference alone have multiple titles in the 21st century including Florida despite not being “relevant” recently (see what I did there?)

Again, get back to me when you swing some dick in your new conference. (Having more championships than BYU in the last 50 years would be a good start)

Because the last coach you had from the Big10 did so well...

Again, the initial point was not about being a powerhouse or a blue blood or whatever else which we obviously are but you are calling subjective due to the lack of recent hardware (a trait of which your team also shares by the way). That was not the point and so let’s dismiss that red herring you can’t seem to get twisted free from.

The point is, in 2024, for a UF fan to opine on anything or have anything that comes close to sharp criticism at another program is absurd. It’s beyond rich, it’s Jeff Bezos.

Your team, with where they are today, in the present times, and where reasonable expectations based on the facts as presented today in the present (horrible coach, weak players, poor management) is in a state of disaster. You aren’t competitive, relevant nor worthy to weigh in on matters of other teams who are competitive and relevant.

As such, you are now (much like your team already) dismissed from this conversation.

Yall talk so much shite on this board, that is the initial point. Your fanbase is justifiably called out for talking shite and not having the hardware to back it up, that’s the point. I’m not on here pretending Florida is good (bc if I was I should be mocked lmao) the irony is your fanbase is on here talking like they win championships (they don’t.)

Your fanbase talks a lot of shite for not being able to back it up. Anyone with an objective point of view can see that. I’m not on here acting like Florida is good lmao — the point is y’all talk way way too much shite like you’ve actually won multiple championships. But you haven’t. And then when you’re called out for it — you have to say “the initial point is Florida sucks” uh ok thanks bro no shite. I never said they didnt? Lmao

Texas fans talk a lot of shite here and then are surprised I point out they haven’t won enough hardware to talk so much shite lmao. That’s it. That’s the point. Just like Florida can be called out for not being good - I can call you dickheads out for not winning championships. The only difference is I’m not on the board posting like my team is good. Texas fans are on here posting like they win championships. The end.

I'm dumb it down for you.

In 2024, at 6-1, formerly ranked #1 and still in the top 5, with a quality loss to a team that has beaten you like a rag doll every year in recent memory, we can talk about our hopes, ambitions, and expectations for 2024 all we want. Because it's relevant and logical. Because this is 2024, not 2005, not 2008, not 2015, but it is today. And today we have a reasonable expectation to be better than most teams in this conference and college football.

Florida has none of the above today. So to that, I say, sit down and shut up until the day comes when you are relevant and in the conversation.

That's it.

Bert inherited a good situation at Wisconsin.

His alcoholism and lack of work ethic drove him to failure at Arkansas which exposed him.

The percentage of Arkansas recruits leaving the state and having success is low.

The problem is Arkansas doesn't look at these players properly.

For example Rogers has a Junior QB that while undersized at his position, he would be dangerous on punt and kickoff returns or at slot WR.

Jeff Regan

Of Arkansas will let him slip away and has success at Kansas State or other schools that will give him a chance.

Nothing more relevant than actually winning championships. Give me a call when you have some hardware.

You have to be trolling me at this point. The hook was not too shiny, but perfectly baited. Well done.
