That said, when we eventually drop a game they (along with the rest of the rant) will be relentless for at least a week, probably longer. But you know what? I'm here for that as well. If you dish it out you gotta eat some as well, right? It's all part of the game.

Last time Elko was a coach at A&M, he said the only thing that matters is how you play in November.
We get it “how you play in October” can be horn’s slogan, historically, Elko locked down November. A lot of teams break in November if their Strength program isn’t great and their 2 deep isn’t ready.

I agree. One hundred percent. A&M football has a culture problem. Part of the problem is that players are worshipped on campus regardless of what they do. Right or wrong. That’s changing.
With NIL A&M can more easily turnover the locker room and gain talent from other teams by simply buying them. So coaches don’t have to put up with not getting with the program. It’s this way everywhere now.
The top programs are no longer held captive to bad behavior. They can simply let kids enter the portal or suggest they do.
We will see as the season progresses.

We nickeled and dimed that whole game 5 yards here 8 yards there to win. Rare explosive play. Having more explosive plays and a win are more telling of improvement.

State has me more concerned than LSU.
LSU is a home night game.
State on the other hand is a lot to deal with in the road. They will be motivated.

I think the culture issue lies with the fans. The fans have always blindly repeated the party line of Texags (or being a good Ag). They go all in on whoever the QB is and when he fails to perform magnificently they clamor for the back up. That culture permeates everything and for the worse.
I do think it is changing somewhat and changing for the better,
I also think Liucci hurts the program with his pronouncements that always turn out wrong.

I’ll call my school whatever I want. They have sucked for a while now and have been “Aggying things up”, as you call it, for a decade. They deserve the moniker until they use their resources and deliver on their investment.
Until then they are not “Fighting Texas Aggies” until I actually see such things occur.

I'm not gonna lie to you, I'm nervous about this Georgia game. It seems like the whole world is already handing it to Texas, including many Georgia fans, and I can't work under these conditions.
Shite is very likely to go wrong. I don't like it.
