If A&M goes 9-3 or 10-2 next year, would you put them top 10-15?

We play 4 teams that will finish top 10 this year, 3 of them on the road.
We will probably finish around 15 this year.
Lose talent, but not as bad as the numbers probably indicate. Some will be upgrades (LB, OL).
Prolly not too controversial to go 8-4 with that and be top 15. Texas will be there with losses to unranked Maryland and Okie Lite.

It would depend on all of the other teams in the country but probably not because aggy.

9-3 or 10-2 next year, and Fisher is coach of the year

Y'all are losing like 11 legit starters at this point, right?
10-2 with that schedule and y'all might as get the Jimbo statue started.

If an SECW team goes 10-2, that's a top 15 team. Prolly top 10, depending on timing of losses.

Yep. Depending on the losses could be fighting for the West and a playoff birth too. Let's say their 2 losses are close ones to undefeated Clemson and Bama next year. It would be really easy to make a case for them in the top 4.

Wins over two top 5 teams. Bama & Texas are the only teams in the country to beat OU & Georgia. I think that justifies our ranking. Maybe if you did something similar the playoff committee could be flexible.

4 to the NFL (RB, TE, 1 OL, 1 LB), 6 to graduation (1 OL, 3 DL, 1 LB, 1 DB) so 10.

With y’alls schedule, hell yeah.

I have to agree. Texas at least split games with OU. The Aggies won nothing as usual.

t.u. lost to Maryland. That cancels out one of the OU wins.

Texas lost three games to less talented teams. Cause they suck

10-2 will get them top 5
In the state of Texas

If the aggies went 10-2 it would the second time this century.

We’re definitely a top 10 team in 2019. You will see what top recruiting, excellent facilities and a championship coach can do to revive a program.

The Aggies at least made a playoff team sweat. The current ranking is UT, for beating a playoff team. TAMU, for giving a playoff team a real game. OU for making UT's win over a playoff team look unimpressive. At this point, we enter some Inceptionish ranking drama between UT and TAMU.

Revive. That would be a resurrection.

What do you mean by if? A&M’s only guaranteed loss next year is Bama.

What do you mean guaranteed loss? Didn’t you hire dumbo to beat him?

In any event, I don't understand the point of this post. Rankings aren't completely relative -- you can assume that a given record in a P5 conference will fall into a general range -- but they do depend enormously on who you beat, when you beat them, what records other teams have, who they beat, how any of the teams involved won, etc etc. Asking this question seems unnecessarily speculative and useless 8 months before the season even starts. Obviously a 9-2 SEC-W team is almost certain to be in the top 15, but that's just basic knowledge of CFB.
