I'd still pump the brakes on UF

The O seems to be potent and well balanced. Still getting it's feet under them.
My worry:
The D is behind schedule compared to the offense. Front is holding its own, behind that the rest is shaky in my opinion.
#8 ranking is more than I'd give them but as long as UF outscores their opponent then all's good.
Ranking of 12 to 15 feels more appropriate

these days, I think nobody knows. gonna take 3-4 more weeks to REALLY know.
Bottom line, there are gonna be a lot of 2,3,4 loss league teams that are very very good. It’ll come down to injuries and of course some good fortune to see who makes it to the end.
Fla looked really good to me on Saturday. But so did Ole Miss when we played them.
I think we will end up w three losses and still have a kick arse team that nobody really wants to play. Nothing to be ashamed of but might miss the playoffs while Indiana cruises.
Bottom line, there are gonna be a lot of 2,3,4 loss league teams that are very very good. It’ll come down to injuries and of course some good fortune to see who makes it to the end.

I think we’re all still a bit traumatized from Napier. I don’t think BYU, Texas tech, Utah are better than us but could make an argument for LSU. Doesn’t really matter, it will play itself out.

A number of teams' offense is better than their D at this point. Trust me, lol.

The thing is no one looks great. Only complete team I see is Georgia. If your secondary is you only real issue you are in good shape. We had issues last year yet we had a decent run.

Yeah, I want to see how they do at Missouri.
I said this in another thread, but Billy Napier beat a top 11 team in the swamp all four years of his horrible tenure. In those same four years, he only won four times on the road. The final records of those four teams were 5-7, 5-7, 2-10, 2-10.
The Swamp is an incredible home field advantage. So I’d like to see another road win before I’d call them top 10.
