Far from a lock. You don't control your own destiny in this regard. If UF wins tomorrow then they'll go to a NSC game. The loser of Bama vs UGA may go instead depending on how close it is. At present, you are the 5th best team in the SEC.

Riiiiiight. Bama was the winningest program in SEC history BEFORE Saban. Every coach at Bama in the last 50+ years has experienced a ten win season at least once.
I understand your frustration, though. This is LSU's golden era and you're still second fiddle to Bama. If I were you I'd try to talk myself into believing that Bama will bottom feed "again" too.
