Rings are what matters for the team. Awards are nice for any individual player but any player will tell you he would trade an award for a championship. Fambly don't understand that i guess.

I love it when people congratulate teams for individual awards, as if the other players on the team are happy to settle for a Heisman teammate instead of winning a championship.

It was joke. I was making light of this thread. I don't think any Alabama fan would trade a SEC title and BCS title game appearance for A.J. McCarron winning a Heisman trophy. Mark Ingram's Heisman in 2009 was just icing on the cake.

I didn't know a single Aggie who thought he (dreadlock jesus) should have gotten the trophy and I still don't... he lost three games and has proven time and again that if you hit him he will fold.
So its not a big deal to me that they would just reciprocate the hate.
And don't think for a sec that schools like tceh, t.u., smu, tcu, ou, or houston are happy to see Johnny take home the big prize.
