They really are. That program is a dumpster fire right now.

Something amiss there in T Town. Coaches and players seem to be doubting themselves or something.

those were the worst 3 quarters of offensive football against what should be a clearly inferior opponent I've seen from bama since the Shula days.

also, you have a very short memory if you truly believe this. Several of Mcelwain's games were duds.

Bama looks like past good LSU teams this year. Get up for the big games, look pedestrian for the others. Bama is still good. Really good. But they don't look like the past really good Bama teams.

Get off the ledge, Gump. Your team is still one of the best in the country, and holds the most important spot in the rankings.

That's a fair assessment.

I've had practice trying to convince my wife that her team is still the team to beat even though they don't look absolutely perfect each week.

LSU is firing on all cylinders and HIGHLY motivated. But we have no shot at beating Bama, since as I've learned here, Bama dominates LSU. I imagined every single one of these: 2011, 2010, 2007, 2006, 2005,2004,2003, etc etc...

I've had to do the same thing with many of my friends.

I would be lying if I said it wasn't refreshing to see my Bama family showing signs of the typical college football fan's nervous wreck syndrome. It's been a while.

I'll be sitting 9 rows up on the 50 yard line, Bama side, in Bryant-Denny in November. Cannot wait. Love the tailgating in Tuscaloosa. Second to one.

But no, Bama will beat us.

I seriously want to be worried about the coming Freeze, I do.

I'm trying to build the game up in my head, but something in my subconscious just won't allow it.

True. Tulane (08 or 09, can't remember) and Tennessee (09) come to mind.

I saw some UPS team ranking deal that had us ranked in the 20's. It made me so sad I tried slitting my wrists. Not the slit that kills, just the slit that garners attention.

The defense is far worse than the offense.

they did more than just squeak by texas

I mean... Ole Miss was losing at half, and it was a one score lead until almost the 4th quarter when they got a special teams TD. Not to say that they weren't the better team, but it wasn't like they were never going to lose. Alabama wouldn't be trailing at half to tu.

Texas didn't score in the 2nd half at home in front of 101k fans. The game is for 60 minutes. Not the 1st half.

Ole Miss scored 20 points in the 3rd quarter. The score was 37 to 23 at the end of the 3rd. Not sure where you are getting the one score lead from...
