...and just because he cheated doesn't guarantee she will leave him with nothing. It may give her a greater portion of the community estate (assuming Ark is a community property state, Ark lawyers, help me out), but it won't be some 75-25% split. At best, she would be entitled to reimbursement of any money Bobby laid out for his side-arse (including the $20k) and a 60-40% split, and that 60-40 is a REALLY good day for Ms. Bobby.

The ol' "as long as you keep your nasty hands off of me and I can spend your money it's OK" marriage?

How much do you think that motorcycle accident is going to end up costing?

This is like the movie Fargo, where people just keep getting whacked because of the domino effect

Petrino...everything he did resulted in,

losing his job
his family gets humiliated
assistant coaches unsure of their future
fans lose a helluva coach
the chick loses her sugardaddy
the chicks fiance gets humiliated, and now needs a job

what else?

...which supports the notion that MONEY is more important in marriages than side-arse.

Add in the hillbilly factor of the fact that it's Arkansas and it's like a really well written soap opera and I can't make myself look away.

Tiger Woods cheated on his wife a lot more than BP (he had way more money and way more opportunity) but Tiger's ex didn't know anything, hence her blow up on Thanksgiving. If BP's wife was a very naive trusting person and was not suspicious then it's possible to pull it off without her knowledge.

The proof will lie in her reaction over the next year. Wood's wife divorced him and took him to the cleaners. That indicates that she did not know and approve. If BP's wife sticks by him then she probably knew about it.

Some other cases... Marion Barry, DC Mayor, during his trial his wife stood by him even though he was caught with a prostitute and drugs. But as soon as he was convicted she filed for divorce.

Sometimes there is a delayed reaction.

Divorce is the fricking you get for the fricking you got.

The Woods case is different. It was a settlement. He paid her 3/4 a billion to STFU. He wouldn't have had to pay nearly that much. He would have simply been even more humiliated (if that is even possible) and Elin would have cleaned house with a tell-all book.
