I hope so.

Without the expanded playoffs, is OSU looking for a new coach? If Michigan is coming into the Horseshoe again and beating you for the second loss and thus keeping your 40 million dollar team out of a 4-team playoff, and it would have, would you have Ryan Day's hide up on the Buckeye wall?

That is a lot of ifs. No, Ohio State wasn't firing the coach. Our biggest issue last season was the conservative playcalling. We opened it up during the postseason and rolled over everyone.

Sure, but you are again using the Playoffs to justify the correction. Without the 12-team Playoff, the correction and redemption never would have happened. So, given that OSU would have again missed the Playoff a year earlier, and having Michigan keeping you out on your homefield, again, it's hard to imagine that Day survives a 40 million dollar payroll, especially based on the temperature of the fan base, just the year before.

I cannot speak for other Ohio State fans, but losing to Michigan was tough; however, firing a winning coach over one game is silly. It is what it is.

You certainly can't. Because I am friends with some that are decent, smart, mature, non-condescending/insulting and perfectly fine to be around. In other words, not at all like you.

But take comfort (I guess) that you DO fit in perfectly with the Suckeye invasive trash that frequents this SEC forum.

he won't admit it but you are 100% correct. Had the old system been in place and osu missed the playoffs, they'd be breaking in a new coach this season.

Mark Richt averaged 10 wins a year. If a few more of those 10 per year had been against the Gators he likely would have lasted longer than he did, especially with the expanded playoff.

At the end of the day you won a title, but your most bitter rival still gets to trash talk you. Fans don't like that. I wouldn't anyway

It sucks to lose to Michigan but it woke the team up.

Half this board would run to the administration for help if I talked smack. He hurt our feelings, make him stop.
