Noter Dame is popping up on a lot of SEC schools schedules in the future. Bama has them coming up in 3 or 4 yrs. Georgia has them I think. Arkansas has them next season I think it was. Several more teams do as well.
Bama has Ohio State on the road next season. Georgia has FSU in Nashville next year. Texas has Michigan I think if I’m remembering correctly. Mizzou has Kansas and Illinois coming up in the next few years. Oklahoma has Nebraska coming up in the next few years. That will be a Big 8 throwback. LSU has Huston and I think it was SMU coming up in the next few years. Auburn has Noter Dame coming up.
If the SEC stays as competitive as it has been this year then some of the member SEC teams will have brutal schedules coming up in the future. Some schools are scheduled into the 2030’s already. Some haven’t filled in much so far. I think A&M didn’t have many future OOC games listed.

Pretty sure Arkansas played ND last year and they went to Utah earlier this year. Didn't do well but credit to them for scheduling some big boys.

I don’t know why Notre Dame hasn’t been black balled by the power 4 conferences yet.
One team should never get a carve out. They are group of 5

We play them the next 2 years.

Mizzou beat Kansas 38-21 Sept 11th. OC games for us next year are Illinois St, @ San Deigo St ( might try to go to this one ) Florida-Atlantic, and Illinois.

Poked around and Notre Dame is doing a little SEC circuit it seems. Already played home and homes with Texas, Georgia, and A&M. They’ve got Auburn, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida and Texas, again, in the near future.

LSU also has Utah coming up in a few years too. They had Arizona State but that home and home was cancelled.
They will play at Utah in 2031 and Tiger Stadium in 2032.
SMU comes to Tiger Stadium in 2028 and play them in Arlington 2029.
2027 we play Houston at Houston.
I am hoping that these SEC teams scheduling Notre Dame puts them in their rightful corner of the room to not be heard from.

I’d drop Notre Dame. I don’t mind playing the B1G, Big 12 or ACC.

We had USC and Wake Forest (I know, not a power) but both backed out of the schedule.

I'm glad to see these games being scheduled, but the playoff committee needs to start rewarding teams for playing them. An SEC team shouldn't be punished for losing a close game to Ohio State or Notre Dame while somebody else goes 11-1 playing a bunch of nobodies. Otherwise, we're giving schools every reason to stop scheduling these games.

Money. Same reason they get grantees playoff spots while playing JV competition.
