outside of the scholarship numbers all teams are having the same issues with limited practice and dealing with players who have been exposed and are having to sit out. Why do you think your team is any different in that regards. DA is gonna DA. Your fan base all summer said little to no drop off including my LSU friend from my home town. You are all koolaid coonass drinkers.

Everybody here told us that LSU would fall apart after losing 34 players. Why are you changing your story now?

That feeling you are feeling is the same one we felt when Rohan Davey and Josh Reed torched us for over 500 yards passing on our homecoming in 2001.

It sucks, I know. But it will get better over time. Hang in there.

The OL is horrendous.

They're not. Brennan had plenty of time to throw. The longer he held the ball, the worse he got.

Miss St is better than I expected.

LSU is a young team.

I don’t think Pelini is the answer at DC based on his first stint here.

Because LSU only had like two guys who started in 2019 yesterday.

There will be time to settle that. Orgeron handled the Canada issue well enough.

Less practice means a lot more when you have so little depth and experience derp

I don't think LSU's defense is as bad as everyone is saying. It was one bad game, lets see how both teams do in the other 9. People are saying Leach is the next big thing after one game time will tell about that one.

lose a savant-like coordinator like Brady

Dude must really be something to go from someone with no offensive coaching experience to a "savant like coordinator" in one season.

State installed a new system, with new coaches, and a new QB in the same amount of time. Plus LSU had experience in the same system. Just not many starters returning. And better recruiting than State.

The problem with LSU fans is that everyone had way too high expectations.

My favorite from several LSU posters this offseason regarding the loss of Brady to the NFL:

“No big loss, we still have the 2019 playbook and have the players to plug into the system. We won’t miss a beat.”

Air raid is famous for being a pretty simple offense. Plus, Costello is probably a better QB than Brennan.

No you're just a dumbfrick. LSU has about 70 scholarship players at this point, plus severely limited practice. Literally unprecedented circumstances

What was unprecedented was the luck LSU fell in to last season. LSU being a 5-5 team this year given their talent and coaching is obvious and inevitable, not unprecedented.

Costello had plenty of starts and wins under his belt. LSU should've courted him

Secondary is paper thin. We cannot lose a starter and have a winning season.
